To launch and maintain a successful online venture, a great deal more is required than just the initial investment in design and development. As with other valuable assets, a professional and productive website requires constant monitoring, attention to detail and a commitment of time and money. Many businesses simply do not have the resources to properly manage their Internet presence. That’s where we come in. MarketWorks, LLC is a web site management and Internet marketing consulting firm.

Whether we’re creating an Internet presence from scratch or improving an existing effort, MarketWorks serves as an objective and trusted resource for project management, technology selection and vendor selection, website design and website development, opportunity analysis as well as online advertising and marketing services. Some of the more common questions regarding our website management services include:

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why would I need Website Management Services?

Does your website grow and change with your business?  Does it reflect the most current information regarding your company and your products or services?  Is it easy for you to make changes or updates to your website or is it a struggle each and every time?  Do you know when your domain name registration expires or if your website is hosted on a reliable network?  Is your website hosted on a web server (IP address) with hundreds or even thousands of other websites?  If your website were to go down, how quickly could you restore the site and get back up and running? MarketWorks provides website management services on an ongoing or as-needed basis. Contact us today for more information.

2. How can I effectively manage my website without adding additional staff?

There are really only two options: 1) do it yourself (DIY) or 2) hire someone else to do it for you (outsource), preferably someone who knows what they are doing. At MarketWorks, website management is what we do and we’ve been doing it for more than a dozen years. For small to mid-sized companies, it just makes sense to outsource your website management and maintenance. Rather than add additional staff or hire several specialized companies to manage certain elements of your Internet presence, MarketWorks provides a turn-key solution at affordable prices.

3. What kind of website management services do you offer?

Our website management services include:

  • Custom Website Design or Redesign
  • Domain Name Portfolio Management
  • Email Account Management
  • Hosting Account Management
  • Professional Copywriting
  • Web Server Maintenance
  • Website Maintenance

4. What does it cost?

Every client/project is unique. That being the case, in order for us to provide an accurate quote for your organization/particular needs, we will need additional information from you (e.g. size of your website, frequency of content updates, type of server, etc.). What we can tell you is this… MarketWorks provides website management services at a cost that is much more affordable than adding additional staff.

5. Can you make changes to my website after it’s completed?

Yes. Changes and updates to your website are essential as your business grows and as the search engines alter their search algorithms. Part of our website management services include professional copywriting and web site and server maintenance. Making changes are not a problem.  MarketWorks can provide creative options for the day-to-day upkeep, editing and growth of your website.

6. Can I update my own website?

Absolutely. Unlike some website developers or pre-packaged (template) website solutions, all of our clients own their websites outright. You can update it, edit it, move it … it’s your website to do with as you please. All of our (new) website development projects are considered “work-for-hire” projects. In other words, the client retains all intellectual property rights to their new Website, including the underlying code (with the exception of proprietary/purchased programming, open-source scripts or content subject to GNU Free Documentation License).
